I think it was "Frownland" that first got me thinking in the Beefheartian mode,

Sadly, I've never seen a Captain Beefheart show.

I'm a guitar player, I have played in many bands in the past and played as a solo acoustic blues act for several years
on the coffee and college circuit. I once sat in with my idols, the Siegel-Schwall Band, a personal highlight.

I wish that someone could go over toWarner Brothers (as well as all the other companies that Don has recorded
for) and raid their vaults for Captain Beeheart & The Magic Band outtakes and other unreleased studio recordings for release on a series of archival "fan club" type releases.
