2: One in a West End gallery quite a long time ago, the other the big
Brighton show.

No. A friend of mine met him at the motorway services on the way to
a gig in Bristol and Don said 'The kids in Bristol are sharp as a pistol'
which is a quote from Len Barry's 'The Bristol Stomp' (can't remember the
name of the group Len was in at the time).
13. MUSICAL ABILITY / TRAINING: .
Some abortive piano and violin lessons. I've been playing the guitar
in amateur rock and blues bands for 25 years or so. Ability sloppy to better
than sloppy.
