FRANK ZAPPA Brilliant composer and arranger, but I dislike his guitar style, and
he did a lot of puerile smutty stuff. I like most of his pre 1970 stuff,
and the orchestral big band things from later on, but you can keep the
rest. Saw him a couple of times. At the oval cricket ground, London, with
a large orchestra, and at (I think) Hammersmith, with a regular band. The
Oval was brilliant wonderful, fantastic; and Hammersmith was pretty good.
