picture of author

Carol Sinclair came to live in Britain in 1979 from her native New Zealand, where she had worked in advertising as a copywriter and creative director, and where she wrote a cookery column. She unblushingly admits that she has no qualifications in the medical field, other than as a patient.

During her long search for the causes and possible cure of Irritable Bowel Syndrome, she has read many books on the subject of digestion and nutrition, but she belives nothing compensates for an intimate acquaintance with the symptoms.

She lives in Wiltshire, England and Wellington, New Zealand, is the author of a book on her husband, the artist, Ray Harris-Ching, and has recently published a novel Leaving.
