Amendment to Diploma Studies syllabus

An error has been found in the above-mentioned documentation. Students should be aware that they are required to submit three verified predictions to obtain the Diploma, not two, and may have four attempts at this not three. This accords with the information provided on the Continuous Assessment Grading Record.

Events in Lisbon

Should you wish to attend any of these weekend events (seminars, classes, conferences, etc.), details can be found at http://www.academiadeastrologia.com/english/default.htm . Please contact that organisation for details (they all speak good English). Where necessary, English translations can be arranged for all events.

Examinations

Please note that the candidate is informed of a pass or non-pass only, the examiners will not enter into any discussion regarding how that examination has been graded. Where the examiners feel that it is appropriate and helpful, they may provide revision guidance. Comments may be forthcoming where a student has completed a paper above or below the average standard.

Private tuition

Private tuition is carried out in person, by telephone, or by e-mail. It is extra to the course fees paid at the time of receiving study material. The standard fees include the course material and your tutor's report on and grading of your assignments.

Old course and lapsed students

Those who still wish to obtain their Diploma of Traditional Astrology, but whose completion date has expired may contact the Principal to request a return to their studies. Should you be accepted, it will probably require your enrolling again but under the terms and conditions of the new course structure. Contact the Principal in the first instance.

Web site Additions

This is to let you know that the web site has been updated and redesigned. A new series of articles has been launched under "A Collection of Interesting Nativities", these are still in a fairly raw stage, but will give you access to data and information that you might not have had access to previously. More will be added as time allows. Ruth Baker has reviewed the source of this data which you will find very interesting and there is also news about her newly published book "Children of the Zodiac".

The various articles and e-books allow us to expand your studies without the necessity of repeating these points to each individual. Please do your best to read all of these texts and articles, they will assist you in your work and studies, and we will assume that you have read them.

The two e-books on the site, Starry Messenger and AnnusTenebrosus are now both searchable files. The latter also has been greatly reduced in file size to facilitate faster downloading.

There is a research paper available Uranus, Neptune and Pluto an investigation into the sources of their symbolism. It costs £5.00 and is sent to you as an e-mail attachment as usual.
