#14 - what do you mean not dead - How To Have A Good Time In A Noisy Nightclub, a short story by Tolstoy, and a link to the home page of the current incarnation of the Messiah. What more could you possibly want? Whatever it is, you won't find it here...
#13 - rather strange litmag - Oh yes. See. I wasn't lying. Not dead but dormant. Hard to tell the difference, true, but there you go. There's some fine poetry by Durlabh Singh, an excellent piece by rageboy, and a bunch of complete rubbish I wouldn't otherwise bother with.
#12 - tired, emotional, late - So. There's an interview with N. Katherine Hayles by Josephine Bosma, various wonderful things by jcn, Adidasgirl, Michael G. Salinger and Goat, plus a whole new redesign so hideous I nearly didn't post it.
#11 - losing what plot? - The Hexagon Series, by James McCabe, Speak in Fonts, by Howard Covert, Honey and Vitriol, by mez, and a whole bunch of rubbish by the Bad Editor, including an extremely unwise article about Justin Petersen.
#10 - bloody hell - double figures. bloody hell. how did that happen. there's a few good things this time, like Ernest Slyman, Vita Amory, Elisha Porat and mez, but the rest is a load of complete toss.
#9 - plugging on regardless - Despite our Brand New Custom Written Content Management System, there's also a couple of good stories this time - one by Paul Kriwaczek and the other by Melissa Catcher. Watch out for the cleverly concealed Blue Meanie!
#8 - techie titfer - a whole bunch of stuff about ducks, the latest in encryption techniques and another outrageously poor poem by the Bad Editor.
#7 - oblivious - Economy of Love (James McCabe), Cutting Spaces (mez), Poetry Corner (Vita Amory), Nightlight (jcn) ... and not much else...
#6 - panic publication - October 29 by jaida, We Are The Children by Parm Kaur, Wiped Out by Vita Amory ... hey - we're getting some contributors!
#5 - retroactive revamp - in which the Bad Editor decides not to give up after all, and publishes a terrifically poor poem instead. Also some other stuff.
#4 - flagging faintly - Spit, by Lyn Gulbranson, simplicity by jcn , and a short essay on the underrated subject of telling your mother she looks like Lemmy.
#3 - virtual vanity - I think you know which issue of Swallow this is by now. This is the one with the bizarre frames-based cartoon in it.
#2 - superficial stereotype - the very second issue of Swallow, in which Bad Editor talks politics, and a poem by PJ is presented.
#1 - po-faced prototype - the very first issue of Swallow, in which we are introduced to the Bad Editor and his peculiar notions.
a zine for no reason
