History
Born in the summer of 1074 to Anne Bedswelle, Ehlana grew up with the other children of the brothel. Anne was close friends with Mavis Vinefriend, mother of Remy Dayspring, and the two children developed a brother/sister relationship that lasts to this day.
Ehlana was trained in the ways of the brothel by her mother and Lascivia Smutt, and joined the working girls when she came of age. She lived a quiet, but energetic, life in Deadwood. Ehlana rarely complained, but was frequently heard moaning.
Then came the outbreak of the civil war in Albion in 1094. Remy, newly appointed champion of the Bacchus, persuaded Ehlana to join him and a group of warriors and healers in an exploration expedition which lasted until the 1096 Gathering.
There she first met Mai Ling. As Lascivia was about to retire, the two women quickly stepped into the breach, with Ehlana teaching the girls their skills, and Mai Ling handling the business side.
Ehlana also acquired a husband at the Gathering, Ibrahim Ben'Dover of the Mongols, which brought the group the princely sum of six camels.
The tremendous success of the Brothel in recent years has seen Ehlana rise to a position of power within the Bacchus. It's an unsual feeling for her. After all, she's more used to making other people rise...
After joining two expeditions to Cornwall, one under Pelleas and one under Remy. Ehlana vowed never, ever to return to Cornwall. Shortly after the Heartland Games, Ehalna discovered that she ahd had an industrial accident. She attended the Harts moots, helped at the birth of Dionysius and, despite her condition, was in the thick of fighting at the Battle of Gloucester. Her healing efforts there and in Cornwall earned her the title Defender of Albion.
Ehlana has retired to run the Warwick Brothel and bring her new brothel member into the world.
