CJMR OMNIBUS

  CJMR 2001 Timetable

  CJMR 2001 Rates

The CJMR child and youth omnibus is a unique survey conducted at least once each month in Great Britain.

Children and teenagers are contacted in their homes by professional market research interviewers experienced in interviewing young people.  Interviews are conducted face-to-face which allows prompt material to be shown.

The survey is not connected with any adult survey and the sample details (quota) are related to the age and sex of children.

Permission of parents, or other adult responsible for the children, is obtained before children aged 14 or under are interviewed.  CJMR has been running the Child Omnibus in Britain for 20 years and has an unrivalled bank of experience and trend information.

Similar surveys can be run in most other European countries, in conjunction with local agencies.

CJMR 2001 OMNIBUS SURVEYS AMONG 5-19 YEAR OLD

AND MOTHERS OF 0-14 YEAR OLDS

PROVISIONAL TIMETABLE

Target timings for 2001 surveys are given below. Dates for surveys later in the year are subject to change. Sample sizes and age ranges can be extended if required to include mothers or young adults, or other specific groups. Some dates are flexible and can be shifted marginally on advanced request. Target results timings depend on extent of open-end responses and can be speeded up using "Hot Line" procedures. Conversely some dates and age ranges are dependent on sufficient bookings for space being made. Additional surveys will be run if demand calls for them.

Analysis

Costs allow for standard analysis of all questions of up to two computer tables per column. Each table can consist of a total plus 16 breaks. Extra breakdowns, mean ratings and cross-analysis costs approximately £15 per computer table.

Provision of Data on Disc or Tape

We provide paper computer tables as standard. However data can be provided in other formats if required. When ordered in conjunction with paper tables, a data disk write tables in Excel would cost approximately £95 (unless the run of tables is abnormally large). Disks can also be provided in the form of raw care data as an ASCII file in a fixed format, described in a supporting index file. Price on application.

Reports

Costs allow for 3 bound copies of reports, including technical details and 4 or more tables of classification data. Extra copies can be provided at £15 - £26 depending on size of report.

Interpretative reports can be provided. Guideline costs are £75 setting-up plus £75 per question reported on.

'Hot line' and 'Super Hot Line'

Hot-line treatment can be used to give early results for pre-coded questions as questionnaires come in from the field. Costs are in the order of £135 entry plus £32 per 100 questionnaires (10 cols. used) (£20 extra for each extra 10 cols.), plus £16 per table produced.

'Super Hot line' can get results through even quicker. Questionnaires are sent to and from the interviewers by special delivery and special arrangements are made for rapid coding and computer analysis. A guideline additional cost of £720 covers about 10 questions, but jobs are individually priced according to length, timing, and how they fit in with our schedule.

Booster Samples

Extra interviews can be conducted to increase sample sizes of, for example, TV regions, certain ages, etc. Cost is approximately £14 - £16 per extra interview for up to 10 precoded questions.
