Born in Edinburgh in 1944 Married
to Jane, 13 years younger than me.
Offspring - Linda and Barry (by previous marriage) - and grandson Jack (Linda's
son)
Home is near Holy Corner, Bruntsfield, Edinburgh.
Transport: mostly my bicycle, a Marin Larkspur. Ten miles a day keeps me
fit.Every day I pass long lines of stationary cars. I hired a car a couple of times last
summer.
Religion: none. IMHO life isn't a dress-rehearsal; this is it! Better make the
most of it!
Hobbies: Apart from photography and my web-site, there's: hill-walking, reading,
nature, science, collecting art by Robert Crumb.

Favourite TV: Have I Got News For You, The Simpsons, Horizon, Equinox, Nature
programmes with David Attenborough, The Outer Limits, Azimuth (Discovery Channel).
Pet dislikes: aggressive alcohol-users, racist bigots, sexism, antisocial
tenants who can't even put their rubbish out on the right day.
Gave up smoking on 4th July 1997. Still miss it sometimes. It ain't
easy.
