| For many years now I've been listening to the words & music of Mazlyn Jones (who is one and the same as Nigel Mazlyn Jones, or indeed Nigel Jones on his days off), and recently had the pleasure of creating the first official web site dedicated to the man & his music. If you have never heard of him, you can go there to take a look.
His music is not easy to categorise, but anybody who likes John Martyn, Richard Thompson, Joan Armatrading (apparently), or the positive side of the Glastonbury vibe should have a listen. Equally, so should anybody into The Orb, Banco de Gaia and other organic ambient delights. My personal favourites, over the years, are probably "All in All" from "Sentinel", "Beside the Waters" from "Mazlyn Jones", and "Lighthouse" from "Breaking Cover"... |
