Electro-Magnet is an independent online monthly magazine produced by MA Broadcast, Online and Investigative Journalism students at the Centre for Broadcasting & Journalism, Nottingham Trent University. This online monthly, we hope, reflects the diversity of the MA students. The roles of editor and features' editors are rotated with each new edition.

The emphasis is on providing in-depth news, reviews and interviews. Electro-Magnet gives the students the chance to practice, demonstrate and adopt new skills. At the same time the editorial team aims to provide our readers with what interests them. There is also plenty of scope for other people to get involved. Through this you will help Electro-Magnet to achieve interactive excellence. A magazine that relates to you with quality journalism.

As editor of the launch edition, it has been a very demanding time, resulting in me called many names which I also take as compliments. Anyway the job's done. There are no death warrants on my life, as far as I know. So I think I haven't done too badly! Well its been fun, and a true life changing experience, but bless God he brought us through.

Well I would just like to thank my Mum, my dad My sisters, my friend Al and his flat mate Jul's, my fridge, my car, my next door neighbour Pat and George, my gold fish Harry (only kidding)!

On a serious note a BIG thanks to all those who have contributed to this launch edition and if I don't tell you in person, I hope it'll be the start of something great for your individual future careers.
