Message: Did normal training at Dunfries, Watchet. posted to Luneburg then Wahn, next trip Thornaby GDT. Volunteered to go to Abi Squeir (forgot how to spell it!!) Whilst there sqdn took part in the closure of the Canal Zone, posted to Akrotiri, had to sleep in tented lines as station was just being built. Then 2.5 years with 26 which finished my time with the Corps.
