NAME: PETER WHEATLEY NICK NAME: Sqn Served: See message Served From: 1954-1958 Message: I did my Basic Training at Dumfries in Scotland and a LAA Gunnery Course at Watchet, Somerset. Served two and a half years at RAF Oldenburg in Germany attached to 4 Wing/3 Squadron and then posted to Northern Ireland based at Murlough Bay, Bally Castle and finished my service at RAF Innsworth, Gloucestershire. After all this time you tend to forget the names of all those you served with but I would like to trace Ken Henderson who came from Bishop Auckland, also Joe Kelly from the Burnley area and Eddie Giles who lived in Carnforth, Paddy Fennesey from Dublin, also anyone else who remembers me or anyone who served at the same stations as me and would like to exchange stories.
