All games are Wharfedale Triangle League Premier Division,
and kick-off at 10.30, unless otherwise stated.
HFFC AGM / Presentation Evening.
The traditional end of season bash, date to be confirmed.
Anyone with any business for the AGM, please submit it to Woody or me before the event.
Horsforth Invitational 9-a-Side.
Usually takes place over the Spring Bank Holiday.
No information as yet, but it will be on this page as soon as I hear anything.
League AGM.
Probably the only excitement this month is the Wharfedale Triangle's AGM,
to be held on Thursday the 5th June.
The decisions about the formulation of the league for 2008-09 will be made at this time:
word is they will promote the top two teams from Division One
(Clothiers and Hawkhill last I heard) and relegate no-one,
making the Premier Division back up to its traditional ten clubs.
However, this will not be finalised until the evening,
as it obviously depends on how many clubs, and of what standard, apply to join.
Pre-Season Training.
Again, details are to be finalised, but I'd be surprised if it was other than:
Butcher Hill, Sundays at 10.30 and Tuesdays at 6.30,
starting Sunday 6th July.

New players will of course be welcome at these sessions.
If you want to contact us beforehand, please use the Email link at the top of this page,
or have a look at the

page.
Pre-Season Friendlies.
The general idea is that during this month we'll play games on Sundays
and continue training Tuesday evenings at Butcher Hill,
although that may change as we negotiate fixtures with other clubs.
One fairly definite date for your diary is we will be playing Pudsey Amateurs,
whom we played in the District Cup a couple of years ago,
at Fulneck School on the 3rd August.
For Pudsey Amateurs website, click
here.
We generally give ourselves the Bank Holiday weekend off,
so probably no game for HFFC on the 24th August.
You may like to note that the Wharfedale Triangle League is arranging a representative game
against the Keighley Sunday League on this date,
and our very own James Hunt, Lee Monaghan, Simon Parker and Anthony Bell
have been invited to take part.
Not sure about the venue at this stage.
League Season.
The competitive football season traditionally kicks off on the first Sunday of September,
but as this year the 31st August falls on a Sunday, I suspect this might be the date.
As with everything else HFFC-related, please watch this space -
for those new to the club, I keep this page as up to date as humanly possible.
Training at the School.
Unless decided otherwise at the AGM, we hope to be back training at Horsforth School, Lee Lane East,
from September.
