CAMPAIGN INVOLVEMENT
First and foremost there are no membership schemes or planned activities. A campaign for the soul of your nation is something that thrives within YOU. You know exactly what you want to achieve which is why you were drawn to such an initiative. In the words of Mahatma Gandhi "become the change you want to see in the world"
To campaign realistically you need to sport the emblems that were once subjugated and made to forget about such as the Saxon windsock banner last seen at Hastings in 1066. Wearing something like this, even as a t-shirt or a badge makes us realise that still a spark of Harold Godwinson lives on and his last attempt to save the nation from a future tyranny is still within the English psyche.
One activity worth getting involved through another site will be to mark the Fall of Harold on October 14th (see King Harold Day site) by hoisting the windsock banner at the high altar of the abbey- the spot where the last English king was said to have been slain.
The celebration of St Edmund's Day (20th Nov) and the restoration of the Anglo Saxon Dragon will be part of our commitment to ensure that the English were never truly conquered.
Become that change, be part of the renaissance!
