It is with great sadness that I find myself recording a few words of commemoration for the life of Geoff Cannell. Yet a few words cannot express everything one could write about him and his interest and influence on sport, not least the TT and Manx. We believed he was here for ever so I'm glad to have known him over the years especially in his roles of commentator, press officer and MHK. His commentaries are legendary with his own accent, presentation and dry humour. Our thoughts are with the family at this time. He is irreplaceable................
