Tjaps are quite difficult to find in the West. Sources include:
- friends and travellers returning from Java or Bali
- good art and craft shops that specialise in batik
- antique and curio shops that specialise in the East.
Caroline Miller of the USA has bought Tjaps from balitrade@cyberonic.com which she says has good quality wares at reasonable prices, though in small quantity.
Sarah Ferrency says that www.dharmatrading.com is a useful source of Tjaps. The website certainly looks attractive.
