Back In Time
Place / Bar
Established on the far end of Haad Khom Beach in 2006
Build with the help of Vincent and Thieme, my friends from Holland,
I managed to run a very chilled out place, never much concerned about
profits
but more to offer a place where people could meet, chill out,
have a good time, make new friends.
We where surprisingly successful for two years
considering I made probably
the worst cocktails on the beach
(was ok as it was no problem, to bring your own drink along).
Many people extended their stay,
purely because
of the brilliant time they had in this place and the new friends they
made.
It was never easy work but a lot of fun.
In the day I helped Coconut Beach with their day to day running,
I helped the owners of coconut beach as much as the uncountable
tourists.
At night, I had my bar and made many friends worldwide.
I been insulted, beaten up, threatened with guns
and had to close several times due to Mr. Saneh’s (Coconut Beach)
greed but always managed, with the help of Mrs. Pen, to open up again.
Late in 2008 I was told by the owners of coconut
beach to
expand the place but as soon as we wanted to open for Christmas,
we where told by the same people we had to close,
unless I would pay them an unreasonable amount of money.
Something I was not prepared to do
as I
already paid them more then my bar ever made.
So within days they wanted to take over my place.
"Back In Time" Bar is now back in time.
Now I want to thank all those people who helped
making Back In Time Bar (Quote):

and many, many, many more.
Yeah, worst cocktails in the world too.
