Postcards of Eguisheim

Holiday with the Storks in Eguisheim!

For years, Alsace has been a prime holiday destination with lots to offer:

an unusually large number of leisure and recreation possibilities all year round,

  no mass-tourism,

landscape with an almost unparalleled diversity - rivers, brooks, mountain lakes, meadows, vineyards and fairytale villages,

easy access in the centre of Europe and can be reached comfortably and quickly by car, train or plane.

In the middle of Alsace, only 5kms from Colmar and picturesquely located at the foot of the Massif des Vosges - lies Eguisheim, a charming wine farming village with only 1500 inhabitants, in which the only French pope - Leo IX - saw the light of day.

The first class cuisine, the excellent and large variety of wines, the attractive and cosy restaurants and cafes, the numerous, narrow cobblestone streets and the fabulous old wood frame and stone houses, make Eguisheim an excellent place to relax and enjoy life.
