Induced Psychosis



What is Induced Psychosis?

Induced Psychosis, sometimes called folie a deux, is when a person shares a delusional belief with someone else. This usually includes a person with a genuine delusional disorder, and someone who is close to the person, and dependent on them, and/or substantially less intelligent.

It is classed under a group of Disorders known as the Delusional (Paranoid) Disorders.
