• Historical analysis
  Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. In this section we intend to provide a Marxist analysis of those attempts by the labour movement to transform society, their results and the lessons which Socialists should draw from them in today's struggles.
  
• Marxist theory
  This section provides a series of material both from Marxist classics and on important issues for Marxism. Marxism and Science, the relevance of Marxism today, the class nature of the state in Russia are amongst some of the issues dealt with here.
  
• Economy
  A new section started with an explanation of the recent turbulence of the stock exchange markets. To be able to fight against capitalism Marxists must be equipped with a proper understanding of how capitalism works (or rather it does not work any more) and how it moves.
  
• Asia
  This is clearly a continent in turmoil. The recent "constitutional" coup in Pakistan has just only underlined this fact. Here we provide first hand analysis on the situation in the Indian subcontinent. The economic growth of the so-called "tiger economies" has also been used by the bourgeois to "prove" the "progressive" role of capitalism. But now the South Korean general strike and the collapse of these economies has put an end to this propaganda. Find out more about these issues in this section.
  
• Africa
  One of the richest continents on earth for its natural resources and yet the one where the masses of the population suffer most because of imperialist exploitation. The crisis in Zaire-Congo, Rwuanda-Burundi, Sierra Leone, the movement of the workers against the ANC government in South Africa, and so on, show us that the only way forward is a socialist program to end poverty and exploitation. The only other alternative under capitalism is barbarie.
  
• Europe
  The European working class is awakening again. The great battles of the French General Strike in November/December 1995 marked a turning point for the whole European labour movement. Will the EMU go ahead? What should be the stand of Socialists in relation to it? What is the meaning of the Albanian insurrection? What is the future of Northern Ireland's peace process? How many more cuts will the Labour government in Britain be able to introduce?
  
• Russia
  A clear explanation of the events in Russia in recent years is an urgent need for Socialists. Articles in this section try to follow currents events from a Marxist point of view. The recovery of the Communist Party, the election results, the reawakening of the Russian working class, etc.
  
• Latin America
  The 1980's were the "lost decade" for Latin America. Now the official economic data shows us that the continent is recovering. But the masses are not benefiting at all from this so-called recovery and are on the offensive again. General strikes in Argentina, Ecuador, Bolivia, Colombia, Paraguay, etc. Peasant insurrections and land occupations in Mexico, Bolivia, Brazil, etc. First hand analysis by Latin American Marxists.
  
• Middle East
  Can the "New World Order" bring peace and economic progress to the people's of this region? What is the way forward for the Palestinian masses? What is the role of imperialism in this area of the world, key for its natural resources?
