In addition to the above you may also wish to do extra units, six extra units are reputed to be equivalent to an additional A-level, although you may only decide to do a few and possibly learn other skills instead such as RSA Word Processing which Huntington School currently offers. Different institutions will offer different units which make up the GNVQ, it is worth investigating to see what units you will be doing and what choices you may have.
