1. What is F58?

A non-profit making club for fans of Fox Television's "Space: Above and Beyond".   F58 is short for 'Friends of the Fifty-Eighth'.
 

2. What do I get if I join?
 

A membership card and issues one to four of "Payback".  Also, we hope to be able to obtain discounts for members on any S:AAB merchandise that we find out about.
 

3. "Payback"?
 

An A4 combined newsletter and fanzine. Originally, "Payback" was going to be a one-off celebration of the series. However, the more people we talked to, the more we realised there was a place for a UK based club.

 
We intend for "Payback" to build into a handy reference guide to the series over the first four issues. It will have sections covering the episodes, characters, technology, units etc. If you enlist at any time during 1997, you will receive issues one to four for your membership fee. If there is enough support (which we hope there will be), the club will continue, with "Payback" becoming a roughly quarterly production, subject to work and other pressures. Unfortunately, we don’t do this for a living.
 

We also want to include fan-produced articles, letters, artwork, fiction, poetry and whatever else people would like to see. Submissions will be more than welcome. In fact they will be vital if the club to survive!

 
Submission guidelines are simple, send your piece either in hard copy or on 3.5" disk (in ASCII, TXT, Lotus Ami Pro or MS Word formats preferred, but we can convert most popular word processor files - NO VIRUSES PLEASE). All disks will be returned. Black and White line art is preferable as it is easier (and cheaper) to reproduce. Please note, submissions may be edited for length etc.

 
4. Rating?
 

Due to the subject matter of the show and possibly some of the articles we will publish, "Payback" will be rated as a 12 publication.
 

Please bear this in mind when preparing your submissions. We want to make the club as accessible as possible to spread the word about the show and strengthen the campaign for it's return.
