Adopting a plot bunny
If you want to adopt a plot bunny from these pages, you must comply with the following:
- whatever story you write, its yours to do with as you wish. However, you must give some acknowledgement to the person whose bunny it originally was. So even if you give no acknowledgement to this page, your story should clearly state that so-and-so provided the original premise/ inspiration whatever, no matter where it is posted
- and to add to the above point, the bunnies are not mine so don't bother complaining to me if you take offense at somebody's suggested bunny. So you are likely, among other things, to find slash bunnies (gasp) suggested here. I do have the philosophy that if people don't like bunnies, they won't get written, but that it's not my place to censure bunnies before they are written (however see point below about archiving). I will not however, put bunnies up for adoption that are racist, homophobic, illegal or would otherwise incite hate crimes. Anything else is fair game.
- you don't have to have your story posted here. It would be nice though :) If you want to post it somewhere off site, feel free, but I'd like to link to it if I may, just so people can see what you did with it.
- by the same token, I don't have to archive anything here that I'm not comfortable with. I'm a pretty relaxed person, so I can't imagine that there'd be much, but this is my webpage and I reserve the right to do what I want with it, since its my ass on the line. So no underage stuff for a start cos that's illegal in the UK
- bunnies can be adopted by more than one person - after all, we all know how bunnies breed
Putting a bunny up for adoption
You can place any bunny you want up for adoption. It can be a phrase, a picture, an idea or even a title. However, the more information you can provide the better. It can be PG through to NC17. It can be gen or slash, set in one universe or the ultimate mad crossover. The only limit is how warped your imagination is! Just remember that we cannot guarantee a home for your bunny, and of course the more... ahem... exotic species are more difficult to place
As noted above, I will not put bunnies up for adoption that are racist, homophobic, illegal or would otherwise incite hate crimes. Anything else is fair game.
