Free Fall

There are many things he's gonna try before he dies, which he hopes is a long way off yet. He's working up the courage to go skydiving, because he loved paragliding. Nothin' like being cradled in the air with the world far below you. Heaven.
Skydiving though, that's a whole 'nother ball game. Scares the hell out of him. He's always preferred the gentle glide, not the sudden drop.
But then he looks into her eyes, stands close enough to her to feel the warmth of her body. She grins at him and he knows what freefall must be like.
