CI5: The New Professionals... A sequel to the show that starred Lewis Collins as Bodie and Martin Shaw as Doyle and ran in the 1980s. The updated version only ran for 13 episodes and was as slashy as hell. Instead of Bodie and Doyle, we had Sam Curtis - English, suave and sophisticated, ex-MI6, with a ruthless streak a mile wide - and Chris Keel - American, hotheaded and implusive, an ex-Navy SEAL with a tragic past. And those guys were made for each other.
I was hooked from the very first episode, shaky production qualities aside. Since November 1999 I've written over 70 stories about these two characters, mostly, but not all, slash (a genre of fanfiction which involves same sex relationships), the most productive I have ever been. I sincerely doubt I'll ever have another fandom like it.
