Mission Briefing
Okay, here's the deal. Sam and Chris have been requested
to keep diaries as part of their psychological assessments
for an indeterminate length of time.

A part will be posted each day, for each boy. They will
vary in length but will be posted effectively in real time,
i.e. the first posts will be the boys' entries for 1st September
2001 and a part will be posted each day. On most days it
won't matter what order you read them in. However, since
on some days it does we have a link to a community journal
on LiveJournal, also posted to on a real time basis, which
sets out the entries in neat, chronological order, as well
as having individual journals for the boys.
The relevant URLs are:
Journalese
- the recommended way of reading this story. Move through
the days by clicking on the 'next day' or 'previous day'
links at the bottom of each page. You can also get to any
particular day using the 'livejournal calender' option at
the top of the page and selecting the day, so there is no
need to start from the beginning and click through if you've
already read some of it and just want to catch up.

Please note that default livejournal view shows the most
recent entries at the top of the relevant page, although
if you use the 'calendar' option, you can progress through
the entries in chronological order. This is what we've done
with Journalese
- linked to the calender view so that you can move through
them, which is why we recommend you use the Journalese
link.
Livejournal is, however, a little slow on some days so
bear with it. It's a great service, and actually partially
inspired this whole concept <g>. In fact, those of
you who already have a livejournal account (looks at the
usual suspects <g>) can add these accounts as 'friends'
and have your handy daily doses added straight to your friends
page <g>. Sam and Chris have each other as friends,
so you can flick between the two of them on their friends
pages. This should all make sense if you go to the pages
<g>
