Author's Notes

Okay, while it is winter and no doubt icy cold in the parts of the world where by far the majority of the list resides, in Australia it is summer and, well, without wanting to put a too fine a point on, it is currently *hot*. Very, very, *very* hot. <shrugs> I do not do heat well. <g> Today is 41 degrees. My lip balm has melted and my lip liners have the consistency of crumbly crayons. Now, in order to amuse myself in these Godforsaken temperatures I could simply whinge to anyone who would listen, or I could write. For the sake of those around me, I chose the latter… <g> This particular piece -- complete fluff, no plot, hopefully amusing, completely pointless -- was written during a hot spell in November, but the remaining three were written this year and were inspired by temperatures in the high thirties… <sigh> Explanation over.
