The Friends of the 58th is a UK based fan club for people who like the TV Show 'Space: Above and Beyond'.

The show follows the fortunes of a group of young marines as they battle against an alien force which seems set upon destroying earth and all of its inhabitants.  The show doesn't pull any punches, showing the hell that is war - the agony that comes with losing your comrades and those you love, and the all too brief ecstacy of victory.  The group are disparate in nature, but are tied by bonds closer than blood - baptised in fire and war, knowing victory, defeat and loss.

And now comes your chance to experience this :)  The fight to save Space.  Cancelled by Fox after its first season, the members Friends of the 58th, together with all of the other Squadrons both on the Web and in Real Life, are trying to save our favourite show through letter writing compaigns and other covert actions.
