THE PRODUCT RANGE

Three new vehicles for the 'real' world

There are three vehicles in the Khaleej Cars' model range - The Scarab which is in production and two prototype models currently under development and scheduled to reach the marketplace in 1999 and 2000.

Scarab

The Scarab Runabout is a compact, four-seater, open-top leisure vehicle designed for use in the holiday hire car market. Constructed with a ladder-frame steel tube chassis and moulded body, the car is powered by a Ford engine and uses Ford running gear. The Scarab is easy to drive, fun to use, offers lively performance and good fuel economy, with high standards of reliability and safety. High ground clearance and large diameter wheels / tyres allow the car to be driven safely off-road. Full weather-proofing equipment is available together with a range of tailor-made accessories for different holiday applications, to carry bicycles and surfboards, and to tow diving and camping equipment on a special Scarab trailer.
