Counting the days very sadly now! Only one more full day after this one before we have to return to London. Medinet Habu was a revelation for the colours still remaining and the amazing dynamism of the battle scenes. The small artisans tombs at Deir el Medina were an explosion of colour and life - staggeringly lovely and full of a charm that the Kings’ tombs simply don’t have. |
