9. HOW DID YOU FIRST DISCOVER CAPTAIN BEEFHEART & THE MAGIC BAND,
AND WAS THERE A PARTICULAR SONG THAT MADE YOU SEE THE LIGHT?:
I first heard Captain Beefheart when I was living in Richmond, Va.
Some friends and I would sit around the house until all hours of the night
playing records. I asked my friend to put on something that would blow
my mind, so quickly, "Trout Mask Replica" was being played. I'd always
heard OF the Captain but didn't know much about him. The record was almost
too intense for the crowd so "Safe As Milk" ended up on. After hearing
Zig Zag Wanderer i was hooked. The big guitar hook was just too much to
pass up.
10. NUMBER OF BEEFHEART GIGS SEEN, AND WHICH YEARS: none.
11. ART SHOWS VISITED: none.

13. MUSICAL ABILITY / TRAINING:
I've been playing bass for ten years. I've played in multiple bands
with varrying styles. I also enjoy home recording,
key word, HOME. Mainly just 4track cassettes of blues riffs which get
bastardized in my boredom.
