2 Sussex gigs coming up this Easter... The Prince Albert, Brighton
(upstairs) on Sat 15th April, with support band Clay Henry; and the Corn
Exchange, Hailsham, with support band The Davis Project. We're getting
excited, and learning our parts. We will have a marathon rehearsal on Good
Friday. We won't have a chance to work out any new material, but we're
aiming to nail the old stuff better than ever.

Well House recording session
Live - recorded 6 new songs ( 'I'm Bugged',
'Gotta Find a Way', 'Impy Mission', Muscated Bleeds The Psalmist', 'Like
an Angel', and 'The Squirrel and the Shrew'), on 28th Dec. at The Well
House, Sussex. The Well House is in the middle of being converted into
a respite home, so it was a bit of a building site in places, and dust
everywhere.
It went amazingly well, despite several obstacles.
So many people pulled together to make it happen. Grateful thanks to Nicky,
Nick, Josh, Dan, Mille, Archie, and Biggles for letting us use The Well
House in the middle of Xmas.
The band had all learned their parts, and Tony
the sound engineer was a wizard.
The tapes are currently being edited, mastering
will be next, and the results should be available in 4 - 8 weeks.
We think it will blow your minds.
If you want to be on the list for a copy, email
me with your address. Offers of trade/payment would be nice, but not
essential.

Had to abandon the 'CD by post' plan, due to personal and techincal
probs. However, we now intend to get together over Xmas and record 6 original
songs. CD should be available soon after. Title? 'Fathers Christmas' of
course.
6/2/02
The new CD is slowly coming together, with tracks in various stages
of completion. We're excited by the new material, and are looking fwd to
springing it on you. A couple of tracks feature lyrics by the poetess Gillian
Thrilling.
We also hope to put out a 'Live vol 2' later this year . The tapes
are currently being remastered by our friend Dr Phartz.
26/11/01
Had to cancel plans to play this year, due to personal circumstances.
However, we are currently embarked on recording some new original songs
via post and the web. Hopefully we'll have enough ready for a new Fourfathers
CD early next year.
7/4/2001
Added the gig diary, with posters,
photos etc
.

Had to remove the Mind it email notification
thingy cos they were gonna start charging. ($795 per year!).
Replaced it with the free Spy on it thingy. If
you registered with Mind it, it should still work until March 31st, after
that I'm not sure, so you might wish to register with Spy on it instead.

the 3 Sussex gigs went very well. Thanks to everyone who came to see
us. Special thanks to Stewart, for his support and encouragement, and his
wonderful review (see below).
Tentative plans are being made for a mini tour of Yorkshire.

3 fathers had a rehearsal at the weekend, Went very well. Got 4 new
ones sussed, and the old stuff sounded good. Managed to record several
tapes of just Paul's guitar, due to accidentally leaving a mike switched
off.

Long live the Fourfathers! I got your tape earlier this week.
It's great! What a band! Jeeze, I wish I could see you guys perform live.
Maybe someday.

Hi, Ben,
I received the tape a few days ago, and have very much enjoyed listening
to it. As a trip to England for the performance wasn't gonna happen, it
was the next best thing to being there. Thanks for sending me a copy, and
for honoring you-know-who in this way.

Hiya Ben
Thanks for that great tape ... and you say the second show was even
better.. and you didn't record it!!!!!! Doh!
Not quite finished the whole thing yet but highlights so far are 'China
Pig' and 'Plastic Factory'. Real sorry I missed it ... I guess I'd
have spent the whole time with a stupid grin on me face ;)
