 AND WAS THERE A PARTICULAR SONG THAT MADE YOU SEE THE LIGHT?:
    Bought the Warner Bros. compilations (Big Ball, etc.) and Zapped back in 1970. That's where I first heard Ella Guru, The Blimp, Old Fart at Play, Lick My Decals Off Baby. Ran to my local record library in Montreal and borrowed TMR and Decals. Truth be told, only recently did I access all the other albums. Between last April and October, I listened to nothing but the Captain. Total obsession. Read everything ever written that I could get my paws on.
The most significant life-changing songs (no particular order): Ashtray Heart; Moonlight on Vermont; Bat Chain Puller; Odd Jobs (from Bat Chain
Puller); Owed t'Alex (BCP version); Pachuco Cadaver; Sheriff of Hong Kong.
