During May there has been a beer festival each weekend with over 200 new beers available during the month

To celebrate, a special beer was brewed by the management and named after Fang, the pub dog who just happens to be a white alsatian!

The Beer House has probably the largest selection of Real Ale in Manchester and possibly in the North-West of England. On the bar you will find 12 hand pulls each with a different Real Ale. Ushers Best Bitter is always available at just £1-05 per pint. Moorhouses Pendle Witches Brew is usually available along with Courage Directors. The other 9 beers are an ever changing selection from Britain's breweries.

What you will not find is any 'smoothflow' or fizzy bitter.

If you are looking for something different then there are 2 real ciders, Thatchers and a regularly changing guest. In addition there are three Belgian Beers on draught; Hoegaarden, Leffe Blonde and Liefmans Kriek (A fruit beer brewed with cherries with is traditional in Belgium)

The other things you will find on the bar are Becks lager, McEwans lager, Guinness and Strongbow Cider.

Additionally evening food is available some evenings:

FREE chip muffins between 5:00pm and 6:00pm

Curry Night - Rice 'n' Three
Select 1, 2 or 3 curries from a choice of six curries
available from 5:00pm until 8:00pm

Bar snacks with sausage, egg and chips or burger and chips
from 5:00pm until 7:00pm
