Herbert Plug Eats.
I'll tell you the story of Herbert Plug,
Who stole some socks and a commemorative mug,
And ate them as a mid-morning snack,
Thinking "For pudding I fancy a plastic mac."
Herbert Plug is a perplexing man,
Who is sure to eat all the socks he can,
And shoes as well, I'm sad to report,
And also boots, of the 'Wellington' sort.
And now of course he's been thrown in jail
For eating a Barrister, and breaking his bail,
And then he ate his gerbil 'Daniel',
Some handcuffs, a Table Tennis bat, and the Judge's
Cocker-Spaniel.
