Read Summary of Review
In the Thalia production of "Alice" in Hamburg, some other funky instru-
ments were used and are featured in the program along with the Theremin:
the Stro-Violin, which looks like a violin without a body but with a horn
attached to it; waterphones, which have many little metal poles protruding
from a cylinder with a handle; and the "bug", which appears to be a diamond-
shaped piece of wood with strings and also the protruding poles, two of
which look like antennae.
ALSO: The Brooklyn Academy of Music(BAM) in NYC mounted a production of 'Alice'
October of 1995.
