About Bacchus

Bacchus Software Projects are a company that are dedicated to pushing back the frontiers of gaming technology with their technical prowess, whilst dazzling its audience with hypnotic visual splender, and sonic psychosis. Although skilled in the various elements of game design, implementation and production to the highest standard. We are a team that believe 3-dimensional graphics, a good soundtrack, and rings are not the secrets to successful games.

A game should have a steady learning curve tempered to cater for all levels of player, inter-linked with mental and physical challenges, allowing various solutions to particular puzzles.

Simplicity is another element so often overlooked in game production. In early 8-bit days the only thing a programmer could offer his/her audience was gameplay, no flash graphics or multi-channel sound, due to machine limitations. The products were simple, yet frighteningly addictive. (No neccessity for 16 finger??? control methods, 12 keyboard overlays, a 60 page manual, 2 badges, and a stick thrown in for good measure, just simple gameplay would suffice)

Creating the balance between effort and reward is not an easy task, but when implemented correctly it can determine the fate of a product (no-one wants a dead skin collector on their shelves do they?).

Although you may not be familiar with the name Bacchus, I'm quite sure that you have seen a number of the products that team members have worked upon.
