Sheila Allen
Sheila played Number 14 in 'A, B and C', she also appeared with Patrick McGoohan in Danger Man and has worked at The Old Vic and The Royal Shakespeare Company.
Annette Andre
Annette played the Watchmaker's daughter in
'Its Your
Funeral' she went
on to co-star in Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased) and had previously
appeared in The Saint.
Christopher Benjamin
Christopher Benjamin plays the Labour Exchange manager in 'Arrival', this was his first of three appearances in The Prisoner. He also played a character called 'Potter' in Danger Man, the same name as his character in 'The Girl Who Was Death', although the two characters were said to be unrelated.
Peter Bowles
Peter Bowles, who played 'A' in 'A, B and C' is probably best known for his role in 'To the Manor Born', he also appeared regularly with Leo McKern in 'Rumpole of the Bailey'.
Paul Eddington
Paul plays 'Cobb' in 'Arrival', he is best known for his roles in 'Yes, Minister' and 'Yes, Prime Minister', he died of cancer in 1995.
Mark Eden
Eden played the rather nasty Number 100 in 'Its Your Funeral', in the 1980s he played the character of Alan
Bradley in the long-running British soap-opera Coronation Street in
which he was also a rather nasty piece of work!!
Alexis Kanner
Kanner played a number of roles in The Prisoner.
His first appearance was in 'Living In
Harmony' as The
Kid, he then appeared un-credited in 'The Girl Who Was
Death' as the
fashion photographer and then as the memorable Number 48 in
'Fall Out'.
He had previously acted in a number of ITC series such as UFO. During the making of The Prisoner he and McGoohan became friends, McGoohan agreed to appear in a Canadian film produced by Kanner which was never generally released.
Virginia Maskell
Virginia was an already distinguished actress when she
took her role as 'The Woman' in 'Arrival'.
Jane Merrow
Jane appeared in many ITC programmes besides The
Prisoner episode 'The Schizoid
Man' as 'Alison',
she was also in The Saint, The Baron, Man in a Suitcase to name but a
few. After The Prisoner she went on to appear in UFO.
Ronald Radd
Ronald appeared as The Rook in 'Checkmate'. He played many roles in ITC shows such as Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased) and The Champions as well as The Avengers - all of his parts were as baddies! He also appeared in a 60s spy film (attempting to emulate a certain other secret agent!!), called Where The Spies Are with David Niven and yes he played a baddie!
Donald Sinden
Donald plays a small role in 'Many Happy Returns' as The Colonel, he made his film debut in 'The Cruel Sea' and has appeared regularly on British TV over the years, most memorably in 'Never the Twain' with Windsor Davies.
Richard Wattis
A well known support actor who played 'Fotheringay' in 'The Chimes of Big Ben', he had earlier played John Drake's boss in Danger Man.
Norma West
Norma appears as Girl Bo-Peep in 'Dance of The Dead', she previously appeared in Danger Man.
