Over the first weekend in February 1998 I went down to the Purbecks to meet
Terry, Ricky and Tony Van Geffen of Silent Flight to take some photographs
for the forthcoming review of the Adrenaline in Silent Flight which will be on
sale March 27th.
The venue for the flying shots was Ringstead Bay, just outside Weymouth. For
those who have not visited this site it is an excellent Coastal site that flies
south-westerly winds.
Unfortunately the lift was also a little on the light side and that with a small
helping of pilot error (showing off) lead to me crashing the Adrenaline whilst
doing a low inverted pass for the camera. That'll teach me to try and show off.
You might have noticed it's not me holding the model for the covershot - appare-
ntly I'm too old and need a haircut and shave. Next time my eldest son, John can
stay at home!
Apologies for the quality of the photographs but it was a cold foggy day and the
light was very poor - not conducive to good quality digital photographs.
