This was Jewel's third release in most countries, although it never made it to the shelves in
the UK other than by the import release. It was released as a radio single in the US as part
of the Batman & Robin soundtrack. In fact Foolish Games was the B-Side of the US release of
You Were Meant For Me, this meant it was flipped on the
Billboard Charts and gave the single a major boost up the charts. The double A-sided single
did become, for a short while, the longest running single on the US Hot 100.

Outside the US, Foolish Games was released separately as a single and came with the unreleased
bonus tracks Angel Needs A Ride and
Everything Breaks, although these two
songs were subsequently added to the vinyl release of Pieces Of You.
