As I mentioned previously the live Jewel DVD is unlikely to be released until next year, similarly a second single from 0304 won't get a UK release until 2004, possibly to coincide with a tour.

Jewel will be featured on an exclusive 5-track compilation CD singing a cover of Blue Christmas. This will only be available in the US to shoppers at Best Buy (a US consumer electronics retailer). Other artists featured on the CD are Sting, Seal, Coldplay and Chris Botti.

According to a report at Canada.com Jewel is rumoured to be starring in a new movie with US actor Jon Voight. The movie, Sunrise, "is apparently a feel-good story about an adventurous group of students trying to find themselves." Apparently Jewel is a good friend of Jon Voight who is the father of the actress Angelina Jolie.

There is some doubt over whether we'll see the live Jewel DVD this year. I received an email from the US distributors saying that it was still a work in progress and may not be released until 2004.
Jewel's Life Uncommon will be featured on a new charity compilation to be releasd on 18th November in the US. The CD - titled It's Still Okay to Dream: Save the Children - also features songs by Sting, Carole King,
Eric Clapton, Carly Simon, Paul Simon, James Taylor, Barbra Streisand amongst others.
