Walking out to a thunderous reception, Jewel began her set at the Mitchell theatre in Glasgow on 17th October 1997.

Armed with only two acoustic guitars she took the crowd to another place with "Don't" and "I'm Sensitive". There was a mixture of laughter, silence and cheers as Jewel's unique lyrics rang out.

She also recalled tales of her visits to LA and meeting Star Trek's Patrick Stewart, who she said was 'very sexy'. She also described a photo shoot with a model who, "didn't just walk she, like, glide slash undulates."

Jewel played "Pieces Of You" and "Foolish Games" to an ecstatic crowd, stopping occasionally to describe the reactions of lyrics such as "faggot" from Naomi Campbell.

She left the crowd with "Angel Standing By" getting to unbelievable fret positions and vocal heights alike. With a standing ovation, Jewel returned to play "Nikos" as an encore, a song she described as, "one of the only songs I've ever written about my life directly".
