Recruitment Drive

Thanks to those members who helped to hand out flyers last Saturday. It was a fun day and hopefully we will attract a few new members.

Subs

To date, we have received £1080 in membership fees. There is still £500 outstanding from a few members, whose names will be listed on the board in the boathouse as a reminder.

Thanks to those who have paid on time. We need all monies in as soon as possible in order to pay for the new boat. Please support your club!

If you don't pay, you will not be able to train.

Skittles Night

Friday 26^th February 1999, 7.00pm for 7.30pm at the Greyhound Public House, Eton Wick. Tickets £5.00 inclusive of buffet. Tickets available from Neil Bellamy.

This would be a great opportunity to bring friends and family down.

K1 Trials

6^th March 1999, 10am at Batchworth DBC. The minibus has been booked to take you the club. Please let Paul or Sean know if you want to attend. All the other clubs have at least 3 people attending, so don’t let the side down.

Holland Trip

Madame Butterfly have provisionally booked the event for the 10^th May 1999. This is subject to confirmation from their Dutch Dragon Boat Association.

As soon as we have this confirmed, we will circulate prices for ferry crossings/ accommodation etc.

Training

There has been high intensity, good turnouts and lots of enthusiasm. Thanks to all of you for support in this build up year.
