MISSION: To hand out flyers to fit looking individuals, explain what we do, where and when.

It's easy to pick up a phone and let me know if you won't be there and leave it to the 'usual's'. It's equally as easy to get yourself to the Boat House on Saturday 6^th February at 09.50am to help the 'usual's'.

Ergometer training has changed from Friday night's to Monday night's at 7.20pm at the Boat House, Eton, effective from 25^th January 1999. Neil has worked out a programme especially for all of us to get fit and build stamina - please support him.

The first social event of the year, dates to be confirmed (a Friday night in February), please support the club. Monies raised will go towards the purchase of the new boat.

We have placed the order with BuK in Germany for a one-piece dragon boat in sapphire blue with white scales. Unfortunately, it is a requirement under the new specification to have scales painted on the boat, so we have tried to choose wisely. We will be collecting the boat on 23^rd April 1999 from Germany. We hope to have a traditional 'eye dotting' ceremony with a local Chinese community putting on dragon dancing, so we will try and make this a fun day out for all members, their families and friends. Now that we have committed our funds to the purchase of the boat, please pay your subs as soon as possible.
