Corporate Event -13th June

Thanks to everyone for their help on this eventful Sunday. The day went very well, with only one capsize of the day in Neil's command!

We made a profit of approximately £1200, all of which will go towards subsidising the Rome Trip.

Once again, many thanks for giving up your Sunday.

Millwall Docks - 4th July

Meet at the Parade Ground in Eton on Sunday. We will be leaving at 7.30am sharp, so make sure you are up and ready to leave on time. There will be two minibuses, so we will all be travelling together.

Please make sure that your name is on the board in the boathouse. If you can't attend, please let Paul or Sean know.

Eton Porny PTA Dragon Boat BBQ - Friday 16th July

We will be helping run 2/3 races for the Eton Porny PTA on this Friday evening between 6.30pm and 8.30pm at Rafts. We need helpers - there will be a BBQ and drinks for all during and afterwards, so it is more of a social event than a working one. Please let Paul/Sean know if you can make it.

Events

Please support the club. Don't put your name down if you don't intend going or if you are one of those members who drops out if there doesn't look if there is a strong enough team. Make it strong and put your name down.

There seems to be some problem with the crew's use of telephones. If you can't pick up the phone and let Paul or Sean know whether you are attending training or events, then contact BT!!

Training

Training has been slack recently with only 8-10 people turning up at the gym and 14 on the river.

Everyone is disappointed when they don't come away with a trophy at BDA events - in order to win you need to train together. Don't let your team mates down - turn up for training every session, a little bit more hard work and team playing will give us that Gold that we deserve!
