NEW YEAR NEWSLETTER

TRAINING

Gym - commences Wednesday 13th January 1999 at Eton College Gym at 7.30pm

Ergometers - commences Friday 15th January 1999 at the Boathouse at 7.30pm.

River training - commences Sunday 31st January 1999 at the Boathouse at 10.30am. If the weather is inclement we will be training on the ergometers, so please attend.

Some members travel from over 20 miles away to attend training sessions and are very disappointed and disheartened when they turn up and there are not enough people to go out in the boat. This is one of the reasons for loosing members. We are very short on the ground and must encourage new and existing members.

SO YOU MUST ATTEND TRAINING SESSIONS.

Commencement of training on the river during weekday evenings will be advised once the nights become lighter.

MEMBERSHIP

Membership forms attached must be returned to Cass as soon as possible, so that we can let you know what is happening in the club. Membership fees must be paid in full by the Eton Head, to Ian Bowers, Treasurer.

CREW MEETING

Thursday 14th January 1999 at 8.00pm at Boveney Farm, Boveney Road, Dorney.

Continue for about 1/4 mile, there is a turning on the left signposted Boveney under a street light. If you go over another cattlegrid, you have gone too far.
