Help keep our cultural and ecological heritage intact

Follow signs in areas where Restoration Work is taking place. Restoration and repair work is increasingly commonplace on Dartmoor. Please be prepared to follow any specific advice where repair work is taking place.

However remember that by following all the guide lines you can help to limit the number of restoration projects needed in the future, freeing resources for more positive conservation projects.

Next time you come, consider using a bus.

Leaving your car behind will help to reduce the impact on Dartmoor's environment. There is now an extensive summer, and limited winter bus network linking nearby towns and cities to the National Park. For further details please ring the

DevonBus Enquiry Line on (01392), (01752), (01271) or (01803) 382800.

Spread the word.

The more people that follow these guidelines, the less damaging the impact will be on Dartmoor. Everybody can make a difference.

Why not buy a sticker or a tee shirt or something else from the Moor Care Less Wear range available from Dartmoor National Park Information Centres

Spread the word to friends and relatives.
