fund raising events, may take place on common land or other access land without the agreement of the Authority. The National Park Authority will be happy to advise you on the suitability of your proposed event. For instance, it is recommended that no fund raising letterboxes should be on location for any longer than six months and that the start of your walk should coincide with adequate car parking space. A standard form is available from the Letterbox 100 Club, and this should be signed by a Dartmoor National Park Ranger approving your event.

Dartmoor National Park Authority will routinely remove any letterboxes found contravening these guidelines. Where the Authority removes a letterbox, it will endeavour to notify the relevant parties.
