I thought you Joseph fans would enjoy this story. My
10-year-old daughter was in the children's choir of
Joseph just this time last year with Donny Osmond and Sam
Harris in Detroit. (Mostly with Sam, Donny was sick for
much of the run). A couple of nights ago I looked in on
her and she was sound asleep, but the Joseph CD was playing
in her room -- Close Every Door -- with the children's
choir swelling. It brought back a lot of memories of
seeing her on stage singing it. I told her yesterday
how sweet it was and she said "I always like to listen to
Joseph before I got to bed, because then I never have

Having seen Joseph over 12 times, I must say the show
in London Palladium with Jason/Philip were the best.
Linzi Hateley's performance as the narrator is so
evidently missed, if you see one of the touring shows.
I recently visited the show in Cardiff and was shocked
to see how 'pedestrian' the cut down version is.
Please bring it back to the London Palladium or please

I will have to say by far the best narrator is Donna Kane. I had the pleasure of seeing her in Boston with Donny Osmond she was so good I bought tickets to see the show again but she was gone. I saw Kelli James Chase who did not come close to the billiance of Donna. San Francisco in the Golden Gate theater in the summer

I recently saw "Joseph" at the Elgin Theatre in Toronto. I absolutely loved it. David Burnham (the new Joseph) was great. He is also GORGEROUS!!! I've found you at long last!!! It's great to see that there is still loads of interest in the show, even though it's no longer on tour in the UK. I must admit I saw it FAR too many times for it to be healthy but what a great way to annoy my bank manager!! I have seen "Joseph" now 5 times and the Chicago production with Donny Osmond was very good. However, I have to say that the Troika Organization's National Tour Company starring Joe Machota is the best I have seen. Joe has the talent and the character to project himself into the role and "live it" on stage. The entire production was beautifully staged and choreographed. Some people might think I'm completely mad, but I've seen "Joseph"
a total of 57 times over a period of 5 years. I did see Donny twice
and Sam Harris once. I have heard that Donny won't be taking
"Joseph" beyond his current run in Toronto, but the show
will continue with a new Joseph. It is sad that Donny is leaving,
but it would great to see a newcomer make a name for himself.
"Joseph" should run forever!!! I would love hear from anyone who

We thoroughly enjoyed "Joseph..." at the Elgin Theatre in Toronto, Canada. Donny Osmond was fabulous! Wouldn't it be a great idea to record this live production on video so that we could re-live the experience over and over again! We have the soundtrack, but a video would be 100% better. If a video recording of the Canadian production was ever made available, we would certainly purchase it!

I have had the pleasure of seeing the current production of "Joseph" in Detroit, Boston, and, most recently, Chicago. It continues to amaze and enthrall. Does anyone know if there is a recording of Joseph with Brian Lane Green and Jodie Langel? I've been looking for it but can't find it. I saw them perform at the Broadway Theatre in Scranton,Pa. They were wonderful. It was the most spectacular show I ever saw.
I've never seen anyone else in the roles but I have the CD with Michael Damian and Kelli Rabke. She's got a great voice too - so powerful. I wish I could sing like that.
I thought Jodie Langel was absolutely fantastic and I want to know why her picture isn't included in the "Cast Pictures" for the narrators - they have Brian Lane Green.

I have seen the show twice! Once with Sam Harris and Once with Brain Lain Green. I have a friend who used to tour with the touring company as Isacar and the Baker. I got to go back stage and meet the cast ! They told me that on Sunday the 8th of December the show will no longer tour. The only production of Joseph will be the Chicago production with Donny Osmond. So if you have not yet seen this wonderful production, race up to Chicago while you still can because my freinds with the Brian Lain Green cast told me there is rumor that the show will close forever in March. I have a lot more info about the show if any of you out there whould like to leave me a note in the visitors book and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Although I did not see the show from the house, I had great seats backstage thanks to my very special contact and sister -- Kelli James Chase! Normally I disapprove of using the word "fun" to describe activities. It's high overused by adolescants. But as I sat leaning toward the stage at JOSEPH, the smile from beginning to the end disclosed the fun I was having. Though the music itself is nothing unique, the efforts of Rice and Webber are exhalted by choreography and energy that is enthusiastic to say the least. saw joseph three times in chicago, all with donny osmond and saw the show twice in champaign, illinois and am going to see it in chicago again in december and springfield, illinois in april. my third favorite show behind tommy and miss saigon. in champaign, saw brian lane green as joseph and did a good job. heard kelli james chase, robin lyon and kristine fraelich as narrator. all are excellent narrators, but ms. chase is the best (check out her christmas album if you get the chance). while donny is joseph, i am disappointed that the role of joseph isn't featured more. show is very good and i would recommend it to anyone, but wish there was more choreography to it. joseph megamix is by far the most entertaining musical number in the theater today! thank you for having this website! what makes the show is not donny or not mr. seaton, but the whole entire production altogether. hands off to the cast and crew and the creative team! Everyone's comments about Donny are true, but give the rest of the cast some credit too!!! Kelli James Chase makes the show with her incredible voice and magical portrayal of the Narrator! If you have not had the opportunity to see Ms. Chase as narrator then you have not seen the show at its BEST!

Joseph, Donny wins hands down. Sam Harris was good,
and there is no denying he is very talented, however,

I've seen Joseph three times (twice in Minneapolis, starring Donny Osmond, and once in London, starring understudy Glenn Carter), and it's my second favourite musical (after The Who's Tommy).
